G1 Journey

The game has been very helpful for my second grader learning, the basics and the base words that she needs. She is an IEP for reading and this has made reading fun for her at home.

We had a very fun night playing Squishyland! We had the entire family, from grandma and grandpa, all the way down to the second grader playing! We used it as a review night until we receive the extension packs. What a great way to practice so many different reading strategies! Everyone enjoyed it!

Students love it. Easy to include many different levels, and apply to current curriculum.

It dose wonders with these little busy bodies I have, when at times I need to get some work done it comes in hand, i am considering getting the other ones

My granddaughter loves playing this game, we use two popits instead of one when it’s just the two of playing to make the game last longer.

My intervention group of 2nd Grade non readers are enjoying playing these games!

I’m often skeptical of educational games as so many aren’t actually fun or aren’t actually academic enough to be worth calling educational. The games from Fidgit however, are amazingly both. My kids love them and actually take the time to sound out words and puzzle over problems. They’ve made their own variations of games and get excited to try to “beat” a grade level and move to the next. Good thing expansions are coming out - we’re going to need them!

I have played this with my first and second grade ESE students and they love it. I can’t wait to get the expansion pack for the older grades. My only critique would be that you could maybe label each pack as Level 1, Level 2, etc instead of Grade 1, Grade 2. My students are all ESE and most are below level readers. I could use the Grade 2 sets with some of my 4th and 5th graders, but if they see the box first and see Grade 2 on it, they no longer want to play or feel ashamed that they have to play at a second grade level. I have had to take the cards out of their boxes and put them in baggies. Even just numbering them as Set 1, Set 2 would work, then provide a separate key for the teacher acknowledging what the grade level equivalent of each set would be.

I think this product is amazing. Not only are my kids fully engaged while using it, but I’ve also noticed a clear improvement in their reading skills after just a few uses. It’s rare to find something that’s both educational and enjoyable for them, but this really strikes the perfect balance. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a fun and effective way to support their child’s learning.

My daughter loves it! Now we are waiting for the grade 3-5 kids to arrive! I wish they could come sooner.
