You ask, we answer!
Do I need to speak French to play this with my child?
No! The cards are picture-supported, key sounds are highlighted for decoding, and the answer is built into every card. Parents can learn right alongside their kids — and the reference card guides families on exactly where to start.
Is this for French Immersion or Core French?
Both. The Kindergarten Vocabulaire pack works for true beginners in any program, while the Grade 1 and 2 packs build the decoding skills immersion students need. Homeschoolers and bilingual families fit right in too.
How is this different from Squishy Land?
Same world and gameplay, completely different learning content. The card packs were built specifically for French — French high-frequency words, French sound patterns, and French vocabulary — not translated from the English version.
My child is older than Grade 2 but new to French — will this work?
Yes. The grade levels reflect French reading skills, not age. A Grade 4 student new to French starts with the Vocabulaire pack and moves up as their skills grow — the color-coded progression makes it easy.
Is it aligned to curriculum standards?
Yes — aligned to Canadian provincial standards, with a QR code on the instructions linking to the full alignment. It's built on the Science of Reading, the same evidence-based approach as our entire literacy line.
We offer a 30-day return policy for eligible items.
